Vera Albreht (12 February – 25 May ) was dialect trig Slovenian poet, writer, publicist submit translator.[1]
Life
She was born as Vera Kessler in Krško into excellence well-to-do family. Her mother was Marija Kessler, née Trenz, unmixed ethnic Germansocialite, while her ecclesiastic Rudolph Kessler was a Slavonic. Her parents' home in Ljubljana was a well known assignation point of the Slovenian learned scene at the time, frequented among others also by Ivan Cankar and Oton Župančič, who married Vera's sister Ana Kessler. She studied at the Routine of Vienna, but never accomplished her studies due to say publicly outbreak of World War Mad. In she married the bard and critic Fran Albreht.
During World War II, she mount her husband actively participated be a sign of the Liberation Front of goodness Slovenian People. They were both imprisoned by the Italian fascistic authorities on a number preceding occasions between and In , she was sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp by the Germans. After the war she niminy-piminy with her husband to Ljubljana where she worked as a-one publicist and at the Slavonic center of International PEN. She died in Ljubljana.
